Bismillah ir-rahman ir-raheem
(In the name of God the most compassionate most merciful),

We can never do justice to the physical attributes of all of our beloved prophets such as Nuh(Noah), Isa(Jesus), Musa(Moses) and all the many more prophets (peace be upon them all).

However, one of the biggest reasons we don’t practice creating these images is because we can fall into forms of idol worship and begin to show greater praise towards the creation rather than our creator.

If a house is full of images of random people, even of family, and/or our prophets, we are showing a form of worship that only our creator deserves and our creator has no physical image or physical attributes that can be put into an image. No image could ever touch His greatness.

Having images in some cultures can also be perceived as a great sign of disrespect, especially for those who have passed away. These images may give us something to cling to but could not compare the reach of what God has given our minds and hearts to hold.
